"When I create a portrait, my goal is to paint not only a representation, but to create a piece of fine art in which the subject or subjects are the main focus."

Tania Rivera trained in figurative fine art and portraiture at the Hampstead College of Fine Arts and Humanities under Royal Society portrait painter Nicholas Cochrane.

Since becoming a mother, Tania has been drawn to capturing the diverse elements of family life, creating uniquely personal canvases that stand as treasured momentos of this precious time. She also undertakes commissions to paint solo portraits and has completed numerous private commissions in the UK, Europe and the United States.
